Earth Day is Every Day
As fly fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts, we at Loon Outdoors are deeply connected to the natural world and the environment that sustains it. Our passion for fly fishing has allowed us to see firsthand the incredible beauty of our planet's rivers, lakes, oceans, and the wildlife that inhabits them. However, we also recognize that our sport and industry have an impact on the environment, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect and preserve it for future generations.
That's why Earth Day is so important to us. It's a chance to reflect on the ways in which we can improve our practices and reduce our impact on the planet to better embody our motto: “Fishing with a Conscience.”
Earth Day is also a reminder for us to thank our amazing 1% for the Planet partners for their dedication and hard work in support of environmental causes. Through our partnership with 1% for the Planet, we are able to support a variety of environmental organizations and initiatives that share our commitment to protecting and preserving our planet's natural resources. From conservation organizations that work to protect our rivers and oceans to sustainable agriculture initiatives that promote responsible land use, these organizations are making a tremendous impact. We are inspired by their work and proud to stand alongside them in support of a healthier, more sustainable future for our planet.
We’d also like to thank and acknowledge all of the fly shops and guides for being advocates and stewards of our precious watersheds. The knowledge and education they provide to us as anglers is invaluable and their dedication plays a crucial role in keeping our waterways healthy and sustainable.
Ultimately, Earth Day reminds us of the incredible beauty of our planet and the importance of taking care of it. By working together, we can ensure that our rivers, lakes, and oceans remain healthy and vibrant for generations to come.
