Hilary Hutcheson started her fly-fishing career as a teenaged guide in the wilds of West Glacier, Montana.  She guided through college, then took her journalism degree to Portland, Oregon where she worked as a television news anchor and reporter.  In 2008, Hilary returned to her home water where she continues to guide and run her fly shop, Lary’s Fly & Supply.  She’s active in lobbying for climate action and public lands, and stays busy in the off-season working on fly fishing films, television shows and magazine articles.  She is a nature-loving fun-finder who prefers to sleep outside and rise early for adventure.  She loves hanging out with her two teenaged daughters, especially when they volunteer on the oars.
