The thinnest UV resin available from Loon, Flow is thin enough to work as a head cement replacement, but strong enough to coat heads, bodies and midges. Cures within seconds when exposed to Loon’s UV Bench Light or UV Infiniti Light.
Apply Fly Finish to fly while indoors or shaded from the sun. Use applicator and/or rotating vise to form into the ideal shape. Expose to sun light or use Loon's Loon's UV Bench Light or UV Infiniti Light to cure. In direct sun (or when using Loon's UV Lights) hardening should take approximately 15 seconds.
This stuff has been grey especially for finishing heads on large flies. I love how it self evens and dries nearly instantly under the Loon Infiniti UV light. It cures hard and looks clean!
I just love this product. I tye a lot of streamers for fresh and saltwater fishing; trout, steelhead, salmon, striped bass and surf fishing. I use UV Flow to shape my streamers to give them the streamlined look of a bait fish or the flatter appearance of a Perchiform like Bluegill or Surf pearch. What I really love to do is make my own eyes. UV flow makes a nice dome, like a real fish eye, and the effect is so good I can mimic many eye colors and shapes. UV Flow is my now go to head cement instead of two part epoxy or slower drying standard head cements. I have found that the Flow finish can crack in certain applications and my solution is give to the thicker UV Flow a coat of Loon clear soft head cement LN96, also great stuff.

I use this on every fly I tie. I find that a coating of flow keeps my whip finish together and allows the flies to last longer. Coating the thread with this on small jigs allows them to stand up much longer when trout fishing. I strongly suggest it for anyone that values longevity of flies and much prefer it to glue for securing thread in place.
using flow resin and a new infinity uv lite the cure is perfect in 5 seconds and rock hard..Will highly recommend the loon products and a super company to deal with.

Started using this recently to secure my thread and make my flies a bit more durable. Does a great job and worth the money as your flies will last much longer and not unravel. Nice consistency to it too!
