Cool product. Have been fishing later into the evening when summer hatches tend to pick up in the East. As light fades I apply a small amount of bio glow up my leader and hit it with my light.
Provides a helpful sighter to track my dry without interfering with the drift. It is surprising how having a second, easier to see sighter makes spotting and tracking the dry considerably easier. Going to use it for night fishing too.
What a novel and useful addition to my Loon line-up. This is a strategic advantage in late hours of the day and I've seen it improve my ability to understand casting precision in low light.
I am a huge fan bio glow. Its great to adjust the height and easy to see in low light. I am a huge fan of all Loon products
Hate to say it, but I didn’t have a ton of confidence went I opened up my pack and popped this bio-glow on my clients rig... but man was I wrong! This stuff worked great! Floats great, cast like a dream, and lands very soft. Being able to have a silent presentation and adjust the sizing is a key to dunking an indicator on the front range and this product is working awesome for my clients. Getting too dark out? Just snake it with the UV lamp and it glows all night!
I purchased Loon's new Rogue Zinger and their updated Rogue Nippers. I used them on the river two weeks ago and they are fantastic. I attached the nippers to the zinger. The zinger gives me plenty of line to use the nippers for cutting tippet from the spool and clipping the end of a knot. The clippers are sharp! It's a nice added touch to have the eye cleaner for those flies that have a bit of glue in the fly eye. I also purchased one of my favorite Loon products, Bio-Glow. I used Bio-Glow last year and was so happy with how well it performed that I bought more this year. The color is easy to see in dark or light conditions. I use it as an indicator during the day, so I don't know how well it is to see at night. When I saw it was on sale I bought a year's supply!!
