First, I had to super glue the magnets in place to get them to stay in their spots. That was not great. The biggest issue I have is the clips themselves constantly 'unclip' - I go to grab my net and half the time the clip drops off and I have to reattach. I've twice caught my net floating away with the cord just dangling because the clip comes loose.

I like Loon products, but this one is frustrating. In some ways it's worse than having no keeper, because of the false sense of security.

Loon’s description is extremely misleading I had my fishpond nomad net secured to my sling pack using this magnetic net release. On a recent fishing trip my net floated down the river never to be seen again because the magnets slid out of the plastic clips. The gates don’t lock and the key ring is ridiculously undersized. Now I am out a net I have an unusable leash, and the company refuses to make things right. Do not buy this product. And don’t trust this company’s unconditional guarantee.

Product is completely unusable for intended purpose. I couldnt believe my eyes when it arrived. Think of the worlds cheapest lightest duty key chain fob. That is what you are relying on to pull 2 strong magnets apart. Of course it bent and broke first use. maybe even worse is the joke of a 2 cent piece of velcro you are suppose to use to attach to net loop. Product is worth a total of like $2.
