I’ve used Knot Sense for everything from tying flies to locking down knots on nymphing bounce rigs for clients that seem to think they are fishing the bass master classic. Great stuff!!!
I have really enjoyed this for misc. fixes on the water. Get a nick in your floating line? Seal it shut as to not constantly catch on things. Annoying surgeon knot catching on guides? Create a glue bubble around it and smoothing things out. Heat shrink disappear on your braided loop? stop the fraying with this. I have a UV light, but when you're outside, this stuff dries quickly so work fast.
It's a good product but the packaging was defected and it leaked. You did send me new tubes.
First of all, I’m a Bass fisherman. I know, gasp. I use big swimbaits almost exclusively in search of trophies with braided line and a copoly leader. I use Knot Sense to coat the FG knot I tie that joins the two lines. I had been using a cheap Rayovac for years that I bought out of necessity and convenience. It was one of those things that worked fine so I was slow to upgrade. Thousands of knots later and with a couple of YT vids that feature Knot Sense under my belt, I FINALLY pulled the trigger on the official Loon light.
This light is the great! The build quality in general is apparent and the output is outstanding. I’ll mostly be using this light at home during my pre-trip prep but I have no doubt that this light is capable of withstanding abuse in the field. I’m not a fan of docking something a star based on speculation that it may fail over time and that’s why I’m giving it a full five stars. The 18650 battery, usb charging along with the luminating on/off/ button that also serves as a low power indicator are all nice touches. Do not hesitate, get this light!
