Paula Shearer lives in Calgary Alberta Canada and is a guide on the Bow River, and southern Alberta streams. She started fly fishing at a young age and by high school realized fly fishing was her passion.

In the summer and fall months you can find Paula guiding clients on the Bow or taking photographs and exploring new water in search of different species.

Paula enjoys sharing her love for fly fishing by mentoring those who are new to the sport. She has been fortunate to be a part of several TV shows and films as well as other shoots within the fly fishing industry. Paula is a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting instructor as well as a public speaker who has been hired to do presentations and speaking engagements

Paula proudly represents SIMMS , G.Loomis Fly Rods, RIO Fly Lines, Hatch Outdoors, Costa Sunglasses, Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Travel and Watermaster Boats as an ambassador.
