The sheath is terrible and unreliable and now my pliers are lost somewhere on a Cape Cod beach. And I’m out 100 bucks. And I’m out another $16 cuz I also bought the replacement jaws to have as a back up for the pliers that are now lost on a Cape Cod beach. Because of the 10 cent sheath. Which is unreliable and poorly designed. And can’t hold pliers to a belt. Even in the most benign of surf casting conditions. Like slack tide, no wind. And the pliers just fall right off. Such a disappointment. Do you guys even fish, bro? How about sending me some new pliers and I’ll have my buddy make me a nice leather sheath. Cuz he knows how to fish. And he knows how not to make cheap crap. Like the sheath on these pliers. Sheath = crap.

Great pliers and lite as a feather. Not crazy about the holsters grip as the pliers will fall out, but that wouldn't stop me from buying again.

Light weight, great sheath, and they work!

As others have said the pliers are solid but holster is bad. They dont stay secure which is a royal pain. Nothing worse that your pliers falling out and smacking the boat deck or dangling in the waters for line to snag on if wading.

I received my order in perfect condition. Very high quality fit and finish. They are a little larger than the trout pliers but a lot better finish. I like the replaceable jaws, but the holster should be redesigned to be a little larger with a safety strap so they don't fall out. My trout pliers tend to fall out of the holster. I will say that Loon customer service took care of the poor quality trout suppliers that were shipped to me promptly.
