Strategic Precision - Another Loon Outdoors Game Changing Tool.

Wow, this pair of precision scissors is a game changer. I can make superb strategic snips and cuts with this pair of scissors. Nothing in anyone else’s inventory can compare. Make the cuts without worrying about nicking your tying thread while being able to closer than than ever before because you can see the tips while you trim instead of wider ends being in your way.

My Go To Scissors for Small Flies and Precision Trimming

Very good tip for specific applications when precision is needed. Definitely not the scissors you want to use as an all around, but I use them frequently for precise snipping.

Excellent special purpose tool

I do all kinds of tying, so I wouldn’t want these to be my general use scissors, as the cutting surface is a little small for that. However, they are excellent at what they were intended for, which is very precise cutting. They are narrow enough to work them through palmered hackle to cut the tag end without nicking a a single fiber. I wouldn’t want to be without them tying small dries and nymphs, and they even prove very handy for trimming the odd tag end on streamers.
