The Neckvest Lanyard is more versatile and sturdier than ever. New features include the light and durable paracord construction and five Nite-Ize S-carabiner attachments, which offer secure storage and maximum convenience. Also included are a Hot Box fly box, Bottoms Up floatant holder, Rogue Nippers with comfy grip, a horizontal post for storing tippet, a padded/adjustable next strap and quick release.
Great for finding my Tippet Spools
Nice thing to have when you do a quick trip to the stream!
The neckvest is a replacement. What made me decide to purchase this is horizontal post for tippet that holds securely in place. The previous one I had was vertical and it locks by rotating. Sometimes it rotates while I’m casting or wading. Meaning I lost all my tippet on a trip once. Fully loaded, I like the box and floatant holder the most. With the box I keep nymphs and small streamers by removing sections. A bonus is the Paracord used to construct the lanyard. And the clip that attaches to my waders or shirt. It holds securely. I even clip a net lanyard to the portion that goes behind the neck. It holds securely even with a net weighing down on the lanyard, when I’m fly fishing in sandals and cargo shorts.
So convenient vs vest pockets or fanny pack or whatever. The lanyard puts everything at immediate reach. Have even bought a few more for gifts
My old lanyard broke and this looked like a good replacement. It has all that I was looking for in a lanyard and at a good price. It is compact and well made. I like the tippet holder up high so it doesn't get in you way when your using the smaller tools. My old one had the tippet holder on the bottom and was always getting in the way, especially when I was bending over netting or releasing a fish.
