To use this wax, I put a touch on my index finger and then massage that into my thumb, prior to adding dubbing to the thread for the body. The wax has just the right amount of tackiness to hold the fur around the thread and adds a bit of water proofness to the body. This wax is perfect for my style of flies. There’s always on dubbing master when your tying and it drives you crazy. I hate dubbing and trying to get it to stay and once you think you got it, it just doesn’t stay. Swax Low Tack has changed the way I feel about applying dubbing and has made me into the dubbing master. Spread a little on the fingers, rub together to warm it up and the dubbing will stick and hold to the tread just the way you want it to.

My first time using dubbing wax of any kind. Like the other Loon tools I use they simply do the job. Great company and great products. I would recommend them to anyone.
