Spinning and stacking hair like a boss means including just the best hair. Underfur has no business making its way onto your flies, and the Ergo Underfur Comb is the best way to make sure that it stays out of the mix. The fine metal tines stand up to unruly pelts, making it easy to separate the fibers you want from the ones you don't.
I like this comb much more than the mustache combs or the tying specific plastic comb I’ve been using. This comb is finer than my plastic comb and will probably not have teeth snap off.
I have been using a plastic comb for a while and it kept breaking. I am very happy with this underfur comb.
I purchased this under fur comb recently and I am getting the hang of using it. I was a pocket comb guy when it came to under fur. This tool does a great job most of the time. But when I have larger clumps of deer hair I am struggling and I often grab my comb.
I recently purchased a few Loon tying tools that are all very good tools. I have been tying flies for nearly 50 years and used many tools, non better than the Loon tool. The ergo comb is a very effective tool for removing under fur for materials such as deer hair. I highly recommend this and all the Loon tools.
